We keep receipts
Gatvol exists because ordinary South Africans are told to lay a complaint and then wait. We take the account, check it against documents, put it to the other side, and publish the record.
Our method is deliberately slow. A report is logged with a reference number, the evidence is checked, the party named is contacted in writing, and only then does a case reach the archive. Where a case is resolved, we say so as plainly as we said what went wrong.
